Hey deary dears, this was me in my Sunday best being a fashion martyr, braving the cold in an amazing half sheer steal from Amazon. After being on the hunt for a sheer maxi skirt for absolute centuries, you can only imagine how ecstatic I was to find it at £10, yes I was as shocked as you are! I’m also wearing my new trilby which I got over Christmas, H&M jumper, Forever 21 belt, some random jewellery & Primark flats. Hope you like!

Ohso farewell 2012

Happy New Year Every Body! It’s so weird that its 2013, I feel as if in 2012 so much has happened. I mean, we survived the end of the world twice, now that's got to be a story to tell the grandkids right. This time last year I hadn't even surfaced on the blogosphere (my blogs a year old on the 13th, how cute.) I hadn’t known anything about blogging or such like and basically my life was incomplete haha. I have to say as cliché as it might sound, I really do love blogging although it takes me literally weeks to get a single post up... which leads to my New Year’s resolution. I know I know, New Year’s resolutions are basically made to be broken precisely between 2-7 days after they are set, but this year mine is to blog more regularly and I actually plan to keep it! It’s quite shocking when I look at my blogs archive and see in the entire Year of 2012 I only updated 17times! I know I deserve to stoned & when I compare this to the likes of some of my favourite bloggers for example the man reppeller who posts every 2 or 3 days this means in 2012 she would have posted around 122 times! Yes these figures do make me feel like a failure, so I unsuccessfully comfort myself by reciting the phrase 'quality over quantity'. *Que Anthem* But no more! In 2013 I pledge to post on my blog Ohsofashion at least once a week! Haha so that’s my New Year’s resolution I would love to hear what yours' are so comment them below! OhSo: Mary Katrantzou

As I scrolled through the Vogue archive of the 2013 Spring/Summer collections, this particular collection didn't just grab my attention but it basically captivated my senses! This collection to me is nothing short of amazing even though I'm not 100% sure on how to pronounce her name Mary Katrantzou is an absolute genius, her collection's not just a mere compilation of assorted garments but individual masterpieces.

She took the massively popular Aztec trend and made it couture by infusing it with oriental style fabrics and stamps! I mean talk about innovation in fashion. I believe this epitomises Coco Chanel's famous quote 'Fashion is in the sky, in the streets, fashion has to do with ideas, the way we live, what is happening' Well Mary obviously agrees as she found a way of even incorporating the postage system into her designs how chic. She also married stiff boxy materials with high necklines to add that subtle hint of androgyny which of coarse I adore.Just looking at the collection you can see the creator is a true craftswoman; as her clothes ooze a different type of class and sophistication to the norm. I cant believe before this collection I hadn't known of her but now I do, I just cant wait to see what she comes up with next. OhSo: Assymetrical pleats

Hey dolls ,this is a uber short post to show you all this asymetrical pleated gem that I wore to an Engagement party the other week; What I wore; Dorothy Perkins blazer, New look earrings, Fringed wedges, Orange shirt, and Navy high low skirt with my barely visible casio! I know tangerine and Navy aren't the first 2 colours dulux would put together but I thought they looked kinda cool together, at the time, maybe? lol so I thought why not it was an amazing day and the sun hadn't quite gone into hibernation so i just couldn't resist.

And I've also just joined fashionlista Yaay just had to jump onto the fashionista bandwagon so follow me dolls @ohsofashionxo and have a wonderful week xox

OhSo Statement Accessories

Platforms, exceptional fringing, iridecent shades and discordant arm candy; the simple recipe to get noticed anywhere (not just at fashion week!). Whilst sporting a concoction of all the above may result in people gawping open mouthed at you as you walk down the street, wearing statement accessories like a pro is the sure fire way to get noticed in an 'Omg she looks soo cool' way not a 'Omg she looks like a crazy bag lady' way, because Im sure we'd all prefer the former Ive scoured the great brittish high street for some look-at-me statement accs just for you. Although I do know not all of us common folk may be able summon enough courage to strut around in sci-fi inspired McQueen shades like that lovely lady above, I've also included some undercover statement peices too that can add more of a bootcut type flare to an outfit rather than a 70's bell bottom.

Oh So Autumn Bound

Halloha my dears this is just a simple outfit I wore to a school trip for one of the very few days of the year we actually get to wear non uniform to school, for this specific trip our business class went of into the valleys somewhere to an adventure park so the requirements of dress were 'loose fitting clothing' 'trainers' & 'clothes you don't mind getting dirty' so I automatically thought; my new Vintage jumper!! As you do and because I wouldn't really get caught dead in tracksuit bottoms outside of my weekly P.E lessons I opted to pair it with some black leggings a denim shirt well the collar to one anyway my Adidas Nizza's and My black H&M bag which is my everyday school bag. So I guess this is my portrayal of a sporty outfit Lol Hope you like!

Although Adolf Hitler, Napolean & Rambo arent the first 3 chaps' wardrobes you'd dreamt of raiding it seems that their attire has had quite abit to do with next seasons Military trend. Evidently so designers such as Victoria Beckham, Alexandra McQueen & Salvatore Ferragamo have not hidden the influence genuine military uniforms have served on their collection because Khakis, Greens and metallic detailing are ever present in both the infamous military personalities looks & also all over the designer collections although I think we can all agree the latter is definitely more appealing to the eye. Arguably that the military trend is also the fashionista way of paying tribute to those guys and gals fighting for their countries which is actually pretty amazing although it may just be my over analytical brain cells going again lol. So ladies before you go marching down to your nearest designer outlet to equip yourself with the wonderful military trend above are some gorgeous military pieces from the British high street so you can rock the Veteran-chic look without surrendering the entirity of your bank balance!
