Lanzarote was a beautiful whirlwind, I can honestly say I nearly cried when I we landed because of how darn pretty it was (you can tell I don't leave the country much ha). So of coarse whilst I was there we had to sneak in some cheeky outfit snaps. This looks is a bit of a mish mash; sophisticated crisp white midi, with an Arabian style head chain (I basically felt like princess Jasmine's prodigy in it) rounded off with some new balance trainers for a sport luxe edge, cus why not eh. 'Am I skater yet?'

Well hello there beautiful people, Its been awhile and am I happy to be back! Exams are over life is good, my absence aside though today I decided to ask the age old question 'Am I skater yet?' because lets face it I'm sure there's a deep, buried, yearning in everyone of us, to be if not a lot just a little skater! If you've never felt this deep longing then this post might just change it all for you! The skater boy/girl is is a late-teen sub culture that has reigned amongst us in our relative colleges universities and schools for many years now. They're the we don't care kids, too cool to ride bikes or walk so they ride around on painted boards of wood with 4 wheels attached, très Chic? The skater girl is the kind who'd wake up 10 minutes before she has to leave, throw her hair up, grab a tee and skinnies then be out the door without the frivolous unnecessity's of make up or hair products thus I naturally want to be them!

So here at it, my attempt at being a skater girl! What do you think Am I skater yet? Although the fact that I actually took me 30 minutes to come up with this outfit undoubtedly defies the whole purpose of being skater because in that time the skater girl would have already arrived at her destination but I gave it a shot! And I didn't end up wearing trainers because on first inspection of my look my sister retorted 'Pleasee don't wear those trainer cus' you will look like a genuine tramp' I mean call me a pansy but lets just say I took the trainers off.

This a look I sported recently to a friends 18th and I'm sort of obsessed with it. When I was there I was talking to one of the girls and when she found out I wanted to be a fashion journalist she was intantly like ' Omg I can so tell! That suits you so well' and I sort of got a little glow inside ha. Does anyone else get this or am I just the cringiest human being on the face of the planet. Comment below!

When I first saw these shoes in New Look I can positively say that I nearly died. Its as if the designer of the shoe plucked all of my desires of the perfect summer shoe, that were casually grazing around my head and heart and voila made them happen. Me and my friend alike I think got abit too exited and though they were pricey I knew they were going to be mine. So imagine my delight a week after my second visit to the shoes (yes I tried them on more than once dont judge me) when I saw an identicle pair, sitting in a boutique store in Birmingham for a franction of the original price! Guys I nearly cried and just incase It was some sort of sick joke, I bought then instantly. It now looks like these shoes are absolutely everywhere so I think I might just have to get a white pair too why not ey. Aha hope you have a great weekend doll's and this is going to be my last post for a few weeks so I can focus on these ghastly exams! Wish me luck I'm going to need all the luck I can possibly get aha. Jesus loves you darlsxx

Green velvet + Loafers + 2inch platform =

A few weeks back I wrote a post dedicated to the 180° angle revolution that's swept the fashion-sphere yes the killer flats ofcourse. If you havent seen the post don't feel bad darling just check it out heree! :) So when I won this sammydress giveway I knew the I had to bag myself pair and arent they just stunning! Green velvet+ loafers+2inch platform I think was just a combination destined to marry and honey moon for entirity in my closet. And the fact I got these bad boys for free only makes my happyness shoot way past the percentage that its socially excepted for a pair of shoes to make you feel whoops. Although they were a tad uncomfortable when I wrote them for the first time I reckon I just need to wear into them!

..'An outfit tells a thousand words'..

We all know the phrase 'A picture tell's a thousand words' right but have you ever thought of 'An outfit tells a thousand words' yep you heard it here first folks.

Do you get it no? OK let me explain. For example take exhibit 1. From the plush cream of the blazer which is accented with gold button's our girl's instantly posh and the peaking collar only cements this theory harmoniously adding to the formality of the look. She's also unmistakably holding a vintage Chiltern clutch which readily comes with a miniature logo of a guy playing polo on it yes polo. So the girl's sensible, lives on Kings road in London (equivalent to the upper east side in New York) and still takes style advice from her mother right?

Wrong because this girl is rebelling girlfriend. The fact she's juxtaposed these pieces with the casual tee and ripped jeans injects a bad-ass nonchalance which completely throws the straight laced posh girl vibe off route. Though the equilibrium is returned with the classic white converse which are quite preppy, suitable for the posh girl but yet they are trainers after all not the leather ballet flats her mother picked out. Do you see now! Yes? Marrvelous darlingg.

Oh and it's officially spring *cue angelic music* 'hallelujah hallelujah hallelujah hale-lu-jah' ahah I guess you can tell i'm exited right!

You guys should try this next time you put together an outfit or see a chic guy or gal in the streets,come up with the thousand words (okay aint nobody got time for 1 thousand but you get the gist, ha) that their outfit gives off to you! So fashion month is well and truly done with for this season but something I cannot get over just yet, is how undoubtedly stunning the arm gear was that was being sauntered up and down the catwalks in All 4 fashion capitals were! I mean lets just talk about one of the worlds largest fashion houses, creating part of their collection entirely based on the the worlds biggest guilty pleasure McDonald's yes please. Can we just have a moment of silence for the Moschino Slurpee drink clutch *sighs longingly* thanks. Also bags inspired by food didn't stop there oh no hunny this season also birthed Anya Hindmarch's Crisp packet bag which is unsurprisingly already sold out on Net-a-porter.com.See I believe this personify's The famous Coco Chanel quote (all together now) 'Fashion is in the sky, in the streets, fashion has to do with ideas, the way we live, what is happening'. I mean a bag that looks like it should contain thinly cut flavored slices of potato but instead contains your things -just how chic can you possibly get!
